Roger Gadgets - Adding a Roger gadget to a Google home page

If you have a Google home page, you can easily add a Roger search box to your home page. Currently the box is just set up to do keyword searches. If you want additional capabilities, let me know.

  1. Go to your Google home page

  2. Click on "Add stuff"

  3. Near the top of the page, next to the search box, click on "Add by URL."

  4. In the gray box, put this URL: http://rogerinfo.ucsd.edu/gadgets/rogerkwgadget.xml

  5. Click on the "Add" button


The next time you go to your Google home page, you will see a box that looks like this:

From this box, you can do a Roger keyword search, go to you library account login screen, go to the Roger main page, or go to the UCSD Libraries main page.
